Okay Spain actually deserved that. I'm an Argentina fan, Messi's last World Cup and all that, so losing in the final hurts, but that red card changed everything and after Fernandez went off Argentina just had nothing left. What I keep thinking about is that even before the red card Spain were better organized, their pressing was relentless, and Cubarsi and Le Normand completely neutralized Messi, he had maybe two real chances. I've watched him in 3 World Cups and this was the first time it felt like the defense had his number from the start, not just luck. Gutted but you have to give credit. Spain are genuinely world class
