so work added a mandatory team happy hour every other friday now and i get that its supposed to be nice but i already see these people forty hours a week and by friday i just want to go home and not perform being fun for two more hours and when i skipped the first one my manager asked if everything was okay like something must be wrong with me for not wanting to stay late and drink mediocre wine with people i already share a slack channel with and now im just going so nobody writes a little note about my attitude in some file somewhere, its exhausting pretending to have a great time at a thing i was never actually asked if i wanted to go to
