Found out this week that the 'move fast' era of this codebase has a bill due, and apparently I'm the one paying it. Three half finished frameworks from three different hiring sprees, none documented, every author long gone. Leadership read one article about AI fixing technical debt and now wants a full remediation plan by next sprint. Love that for everyone who's been saying this for four years and got ignored until it had a buzzword attached to it.
