market dropped three percent one day last week and then ripped back up the next, and my husband has started treating his 401k statement like its a horoscope, reading way too much into every swing. i stopped trying to explain its not that deep because at this point hes not really listening to me hes listening to the number

  2. My dad does the same thing with his 401k app, reading every dip like it's a sign from above. The number is not that deep, but try telling them that.
