What do you all actually use to pay down debt in an order that makes sense? I've got three cards and a personal loan and I keep bouncing between the snowball method and just paying whatever has the highest interest, and I never stick with either for more than a month. Tried a spreadsheet, closed it after two days. Looking for something that just tells me the order and keeps track so I'm not redoing the math every payday.

  1. I have found it helpful to automate minimum payments first and direct any remaining funds toward the highest interest balance. A dedicated tracking tool may suit your needs better than a spreadsheet.

  2. Tried the debt snowball for like a week once. This would actually help.

  3. Snowball method worked for me. Just had to stop opening the spreadsheet every day.

  4. Congrats, you've discovered the universal law of budgeting apps. Great for day one, dead by day ten.
