#groceries #inflation

My grocery bill for two people is consistently $380 to $400 a month now. Two years ago it was $220. I cook at home, buy generic, avoid waste. Done everything right. But eggs, chicken, produce, olive oil keep creeping up every few weeks. I'm not poor but I'm definitely calculating differently than I used to.

  1. Aldi has been the only thing keeping our budget from collapsing. Not joking. The gap between Kroger and Aldi prices has widened so much in the last year.
