My team of 6 just got cut to 2. The company replaced us with AI tools and called it restructuring. I've been in marketing for 11 years. Now I'm competing with 500 other applicants for every listing that requires skills I have to relearn. Where do people even start over at 38?

1. 38 is not too late. Seriously. I hired someone at 44 for an AI content strategist role last month. The market is brutal but it's not over.

2. Same thing happened to me last year. Took 8 months to land something new. Upskilling in AI prompt engineering helped more than I expected. There are YouTube courses specifically for marketing roles pivoting to AI-assisted work.
