boss now wants me cc'd on emails i have nothing to do with just so he can see what im doing during the day. my inbox is a disaster and i still dont understand the point. any advice on pushing back on this

  1. set up a filter so at least your actual inbox stays sane while you figure out how to address it

  2. Ask him directly what he's hoping to get visibility into. Sometimes naming it out loud makes people back off.
